Co záruka pokrývá

Záruční doba
12 měs. od doručení

We warrant that the goods we supply are free from defects in material and workmanship and conform to the specification published for them. In practice that covers:

  • Machined and fabricated parts — adapter plates, bellhousing adapters, engine and gearbox mounts, brackets, sumps and pickups: dimensional accuracy, material defects, weld integrity and finish.
  • Conversion kits as a system — that the components we supplied fit together and fit the platform and gearbox combination the kit was sold for.
  • Wiring looms and adapter harnesses — terminations, pinning and continuity.
  • Cooling, intake and exhaust components we manufacture — leaks and failures originating in manufacture.
  • Engines and gearboxes we have built or reconditioned — internal mechanical failure attributable to our build, subject to the installation and commissioning conditions below.
  • Bought-in components supplied as part of a kit, to the extent of the manufacturer's own warranty, which we administer on your behalf.

Záruční doba

The warranty runs for 12 months from the date of delivery, not from the date you finish the installation. We know builds take time; if your project is going to run long, tell us at the outset and we will note it on your order.

A part replaced under warranty is covered for the remainder of the original period, or 90 days from the date we supply the replacement, whichever is longer. Replacement does not restart the 12-month term.

Co záruka nepokrývá

The warranty covers the parts we made and supplied. It does not cover:

  • Wear and service items — belts, filters, fluids, gaskets and seals disturbed during installation, clutch friction material, brake components and bushes.
  • Cosmetic change — surface corrosion, paint or coating wear, discolouration from heat, and marks acquired during installation.
  • Parts we did not supply, and any failure originating in them — including the donor vehicle's own cooling system, fuel system, electrics, driveline and chassis.
  • Consequential costs — labour to remove and refit, recovery, transport, storage, diagnostic time, hire vehicles, loss of use, missed events, or the cost of a third party's work. Our liability is limited as set out in our terms and conditions.
  • Damage in transit, which is dealt with separately and much faster — see shipping and delivery.
  • Faults arising from accident, flooding, fire, off-road impact damage, or vehicle recovery.

Co záruku ruší

These are the things that genuinely destroy an otherwise good conversion, and a claim arising from any of them is not covered:

  • Incorrect installation — work carried out otherwise than in accordance with the documentation and installation video supplied with the kit, including incorrect torque, incorrect fastener grade, misalignment of the engine and gearbox, or omitted components.
  • Inadequate cooling or commissioning — running the engine before the cooling system has been correctly filled and bled, using an undersized or blocked radiator, or ignoring an overheat event.
  • Remapping, chipping or tuning — any change to fuelling, boost or timing beyond our published specification, and any hardware change intended to increase output. Uprated turbochargers, injectors and pumps fitted by others void the engine warranty.
  • Motorsport and competition use — racing, rallying, competitive trials, dyno competition, sustained maximum-load operation, and any use in a vehicle used for hire or reward unless we have confirmed suitability in writing.
  • Modification of our parts — drilling, cutting, welding, re-machining, heating or re-coating anything we supplied.
  • Contaminated or incorrect fluids, incorrect oil specification or grade, and neglected servicing.
  • Continued operation after a fault appears. Stop the engine. Driving on after a warning, a noise, a leak or an overheat usually turns a repairable fault into a rebuild, and the additional damage is not covered.
  • Fitting a part that is visibly incorrect or damaged rather than contacting us first.

Požadavky na montáž

Our kits are designed to be installed by a competent automotive technician. We do not require you to use a particular workshop, and self-installation does not void the warranty — every kit ships with a step-by-step installation video and direct access to the engineers who built it precisely so that a careful builder can do the job properly.

What we do ask, so that a claim can be assessed:

  • follow the documentation, and call us before improvising if something does not match;
  • photograph the installation as it progresses, especially the mounting, driveline alignment and cooling system;
  • keep receipts for fluids, filters and any parts you sourced yourself; and
  • record the engine hours or mileage at first start and at the point of any fault.

Builders who send us progress photographs get faster answers — and if something is heading the wrong way, we can usually spot it before it becomes expensive.

Jak uplatnit reklamaci

  1. Stop using the vehicle if the fault is mechanical. Continued running is the single most common reason a claim cannot be met in full.
  2. Contact us at , by phone on , or through the contact form. Quote your order reference.
  3. Send evidence — photographs or video of the fault, of the part in position, and of the installation as a whole; a description of what happened and when; mileage or hours since installation; and any fault codes.
  4. Diagnosis. One of our engineers will work through it with you directly. A large proportion of reported faults are resolved at this stage without anything being returned.
  5. Return, if needed. If the part has to come back we issue an RMA reference and cover the return shipping on a valid warranty claim — see the RMA process.
  6. Assessment and outcome. We inspect, tell you what we found, and put it right. We aim to reach a decision within ten working days of receiving the part.

We may ask to see the installation before authorising a claim — in person if you are close enough, otherwise by video call. That is not an obstacle course; it is usually the fastest way to find out what actually went wrong.

Jak věci uvedeme do pořádku

Where a claim is valid we will, at our option and at our cost:

  • repair or remachine the part;
  • supply a replacement part or assembly; or
  • refund the price of the part, where repair and replacement are not proportionate.

We pay outbound and return shipping on a valid claim. Where a returned part is found not to be faulty, or the failure is excluded above, we will tell you before doing any chargeable work and return the part to you.

Převod záruky

The warranty is given to the original purchaser and is not automatically transferable. If you sell the vehicle within the warranty period, contact us with the order reference and the new owner's details and we will normally transfer the remaining cover once, free of charge, as long as the installation was completed in accordance with our documentation.

Workshops and installers buying on behalf of a customer should tell us the end customer's name at the point of order so the cover sits in the right place from the start.

Vaše zákonná práva zůstávají nedotčena

This warranty is a commercial guarantee given voluntarily and in addition to your legal rights. It does not affect the statutory rights of a consumer under the law of the country in which they are habitually resident, including the right to a remedy for goods that do not conform to the contract under Directive (EU) 2019/771, which gives a minimum period of two years from delivery. Where this warranty and your statutory rights differ, whichever gives you more takes effect. Those rights are summarised in our returns and refunds policy.
