Nordwerk4x4 started the way most good workshops do: with a vehicle that deserved better than the engine it left the factory with. The first conversions were for our own trucks and for friends who had watched them work — and the parts that did not exist, we made.

Six years and more than 1,200 kits later, that has not really changed. We still design every bracket, adapter plate and harness ourselves, we still machine and assemble them in our own workshop, and we still put them under vehicles we drive before we sell them to anyone else.

What has changed is the reach. Kits now leave our building for Land Rover Defenders in Scotland, Nissan Patrols in Spain, Pajeros in Scandinavia and Transits headed a very long way from any of them. We ship worldwide, we price in euro, and we support customers in sixteen languages.

A conversion kit is only as good as the week you spend installing it. Every kit we ship includes a step-by-step installation video filmed on the same platform your kit is built for, and direct access to the engineers who built it — not a ticket queue.

Send us a photograph of where you have got to and you will get an answer from someone who has done that exact job. That is also why we back every kit with a 12-month warranty — if something we made is not right, we put it right.
